Jamie Rakoczi is a PhD student based in the English Department at King's College London with support from UCL. He is funded by the London Arts & Humanities Partnership. His current research explores ways in which insights from Maurice Merleau-Ponty’s bodily and transcendental philosophy can be used to develop a resource for reading contemporary accounts of illness and interpreting therapeutic and clinical strategies. He is also Administrator for the Centre for Humanities and Health.
